Major Features:
- New Aether Pips. The team has updated our Aether bar in the player HUD to look more modern and created custom animations for Aether filling and drain.
- New Map Aesthetics! The Lunar Sea Map has a new look. You will continue to see minor adjustments over the next couple of weeks, but the map can be considered as complete.
- Gamepad Slowdown – This feature was removed when we revamped our AutoAim system a few months ago, but we have reintroduced the feature based on player feedback. Please provide feedback so we can tweak our slowdown values.
- Debug Screen! If you encounter an issue, press F9 and send a full screenshot to the dev team with a description of your issue.
- New Server Searching messages to make lobby searches for servers more visible. This allows players to better understand the state of starting matches.
- New Lobby menu sounds.
- Temporary NonPlayer Spectator. We are temporarily enabling users to join matches for spectating purposes. This will help with retrieving gameplay footage. This may become a larger feature with first person spectating but needs prioritization.
- Teleport update for tighter teleport feel.
- Human and Siphon now show team colors
- Reduced fall damage for Gravity Beacon
Minor Bug Fixes/Adjustments:
- Death effects have been updated for better consistency
- Fixes have been applied to certain paths in server provisioning that were blocking experience load.
- Server Beacons have had improvements to prevent race conditions.
- Adjustments to the emisive-ness of teammate outlines
- Dedicated servers now recognize their empty state and revert to the default map to allow new players.
- Decreased grenade explosive area slightly
- Failing to find an active lobby will now search for ongoing games before starting a new lobby
- Adjustments to onscreen damage indicators
- Buy menu improvements to subscribe to specific currency events.
- Input changes to correct an edge case in quick casting
- Creatures are no longer considered for team balance.
- Menu upgrades
