Our latest update delivers significant performance boosts, improved UI elements, and essential gameplay fixes to elevate your experience in Massive Collapse.
Our latest update is live, bringing a host of enhancements, bug fixes, and optimizations aimed at making Massive Collapse even more polished and immersive.
We’re now pushing fully optimized builds to Steam, resulting in large performance gains across the board. Early benchmarks show substantial improvements to frame rates and overall responsiveness, especially on mid-range systems.
The buy menu has been completely overhauled with a cleaner, more intuitive interface, making purchasing and equipping gear quicker and more accessible.
We’ve updated the pistol reload animation for a smoother, more realistic experience, with improved timing and visual fidelity.
This update also addresses several gameplay issues reported by the community:
- Reload Workflow Fixes: Edge case behaviors during reloading have been resolved. - Reload Interruption Handling: You can now interrupt and resume reloads more fluidly and consistently. - Ladder Cosmetic Glitch: Fixed an issue causing players to appear as if floating above ladders. - Detonation Mode Exploit: Creature players can no longer steal the device—this exploit has been patched. - Spectator Hand Bug: Dead players will no longer see floating hands when spectating. - Character Spawning Fixes: Bootstrapping has been improved to ensure proper class and loadout selection, eliminating invisible character spawns. - Summon Leap Visual Bug: Addressed a rare visual glitch where the summon leap effect would remain stuck onscreen.
These changes are part of our ongoing commitment to improving Massive Collapse. Thank you for your continued feedback and support as we refine the experience leading up to launch.
